Researchers at Georgia Tech have uncovered an innovative way to tap into the over-capacity of 5G networks, turning them into “a wireless power grid” for powering Internet of Things (IoT) devices that today need batteries to operate.
With these recent awards, Georgia Tech researchers, with the support of Georgia Tech’s Strategic Energy Institute (SEI), have launched the Direct Air Capture Center (DirACC).
Georgia Tech researchers will collaborate with TRI on two research projects: the first to advance autonomous vehicle testing and the second, to improve the way robots assist older adults with daily living tasks.
